PictureTribute to Buhle Msibi
FEW will host tribute for Buhle Msibi (Born 29th June 1981 - 1st April 2006). The memorial service will be on the 25th June 2006, at Lekgotla space in Constitution Hill, Women's Gaol, Braamfontein. This will be means of celebrating the life and times of our colleague, mother, activist, daughter, friend.
A person who contributed so much of her work, time, passion
and love to our LGBTI community.

At the Sexual Diversity Forum of the WSF, FEW spoke to the panel entitled Proposals and Initiatives in the Struggle Against Homophobia. Here we shared our own struggles and strategies in assisting survivors of hate crimes with the many other lesbian, feminist, and womyn activists.

He went on to say “Church Council should serve as a conscience of the Constitution, that Constitution is not considering Spirituality that by saying that Homosexuals can marry then the meaning of marriage is no longer the same. I still believes that Homosexuality is bad, evil and morally wrong, and feel that the Constitution has undermined us as a Church of Council, there is a proper way of living your life and an improper way of living”.
